Thoughts on Supergrass

Well half the people I know have been telling me to listen to Supergrass anyway, so I’m glad they were on this list to give me some incentive to listen to something besides Radiohead or Pulp. I really enjoyed the album, but considering the stuff I listen to on a regular basis, it’s not surprise. Fast-paced 90’s British pop will always have a place in my heart.

The thing I really liked about Supergrass though, was they still had a distinct sound despite being of the same genre I normally listen to. It was also very noisy and fast, which I like as a general rule. Nothing against slow music; it can be quite pretty. I’d just rather listen to something fast and loud and Supergrass is exactly that. I’m only sorry it took me so long to listen to them, but that’s what I say about everything.
